Ok, I Admit It, I'm Obsessed with My Dog

Let me first defend myself:  I do not call Benny my fur child.  Yes, I pretty much treat him like my child with the millions of photos, the birthday party, his own hashtag, all of the kisses and snuggles and attention, but he is not my fur child.  Benny is my dog...I just really love my dog. :)  Does that make it at least a little better?

I wanted to share more before and after photos of him.  I know, I basically did this last week with the Christmas photos, but these ones are so great and let's be honest, this post is totally for myself because I know I'll want to look back on these one day.

When we first got him, I wanted to take a perspective photo - a picture of him in something so that when he got bigger, I could compare how much he's grown.  So, I used my KitchenAid mixer (naturally), and now, one year later, he's so long that there wasn't going to be any way I could put him in it!

But first...look how little he was...
I mean, seriously, I miss that little chunker...(although I do not miss the peeing all over the house).

Now, look at this studious pup all grown up...
He's still the cutest thing ever, just a little longer.

I love my Benjamin Franklin Jonathan Gant!

And thank you for humoring me.  Happy hump day!

  1. I have a picture of Shelby in a sock when she was only about 6 weeks old that makes me squeal when I see it... so dang cute! I don't miss the peeing in the house either - crazy stubborn doxies!
