Now Introducing...

Well, here I am!  (Hopefully) blogging in full force beginning today.  I have been meaning to start this blog for months now, but you know...

My husband, Bart, and I are newlyweds living our happily ever after and are learning so much during this new journey called marriage.  We are learning how to continually show each other love and grace and making sure to have a ton of fun along the way.  So much is new and I am so excited about it! 

For the first time in my life, I am actually interested in nesting.  Yes.  That's right ladies and gentlemen, I enjoy decorating my home, cooking, and making our new place feel like home.  It's quite exciting.

Unfortunately, since I never cared about these things before, I have a LOT to learn.  But thankfully, I have a gracious and patient husband that is encouraging me in everything I try.

Here I would like to document this amazing life that God is blessing me with.  I want to share with you recipes I have tried (maybe even some failed ones with tips on what not to do!), awesome thrift store finds and DIY crafts I am challenging myself with, different work-out thoughts I have as I discipline myself to stay in shape, date nights, vacations, and everything else that seems to be exciting in our household.
