{Happy Mother's Day}

There's something really spectacular about this photo.

First, my mom is in it.

My mom is the most amazing woman I know.  She raised 7 children, and the more I get closer to raising kids, the more insane that sounds).

All of us feel blessed and that is incredible.

Second of all, my sisters are in this photo.

4 of them are mothers now.  They are becoming amazing role models for me as I watch them raise their children and get to see firsthand how to raise kids in a God-fearing home.

Third, their daughters are in this photo.

Little girls that will one day, grow up to appreciate their moms as much as we appreciate ours and maybe one day get to be a mother of their own.

Thank you, Mom, for taking the time and energy to get to know all of us individually - for making it known that you love us for who we are and that you are proud of us.  Thank you for cooking every day for our large family and for driving us to countless sports practices, music lessons and doctor's appointments.

Thank you for showing us how it is supposed to be.

Thank you for showing me how motherhood is supposed to be.
