Always Remember

I got to spend some time in NYC this summer.  You could see the Freedom tower from almost anywhere in the city and it was so weird to think that just 13 years ago, there were two towers there, in that same spot, and within hours they were gone from the skyline.

Although the tragedy outweighs anything else, the patriotism, camaraderie and hope that it brought to us was invaluable.

We will always remember.

Jesus is real, friends.  And although this world is full of sin and hurt, it won't always be this way.  I know this to be true.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
Revelation 21:4

  1. Beautiful photos. We must never forget that day or the sacrifices that were made by so many brave people. I was working in an Elementary School, as word spread the teachers started putting on the tv's, until thankful the principal made the announcement to turn them all off. They were so young, to see such scary images...parents were flocking to the school to sign out their children. It was a day I'll never forget. My daughter now attends the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. I am proud of her, but I still worry. She recently visited the 911 memorial/museum because she wanted to not only pay respect, but to learn and remember. Blessings.
