Friends That Stick

In an effort to blog more often, I decided to write this blog ahead of time since husband and I are frolicking around Portland hiking, drinking coffee and beer, eating delicious food, and obviously putting birds on things.  Aren't you proud of me?

I was thinking about friendships the other day and how some friendships come and go, which, is totally ok, and how some just stick through thick and thin, which, is totally the best.

This girl above has been such a blessing in my life over the past year or so.  We've been good friends since we were Freshmen in high school, but I feel like I'm closer to her now more than ever before.  We graduated high school together, visited each other in college, were in each other's weddings and now she has a baby!  And she's a fantastic mom, gosh darnit.  I'm just so proud of the woman she has become and am so thankful for her friendship.

Ash - You're the bees knees.  Thanks for being who you are and for sticking around in my life.  I love you to the moon and back!
