Let the Countdown to Christmas Begin!
Christmas is coming!
Now I can get all excited and not have people yelling at me saying it's too early to celebrate (I mean, just because youuuu don't listen to Christmas music in October, doesn't mean I can't!).
Only 29 days till Christmas!
Have you finished your shopping yet? Have you even started your shopping yet?
Sorry, I'm not trying to stress you out or anything. We haven't started our shopping or decorating yet, but that may also have to do with some other fun things that are happening around here such as...
WE'RE MOVING!
Yup! And we are so excited for this new adventure. Husband got a new job in the Bay Area, so we are headed back to my home town of San Jose, CA. We can't wait to be closer to family and to start this new phase in our lives. I am so proud of my hubby for the man he is becoming and I think this new job will be really great for him. He is also going to be pursuing his masters next fall, which is something he has been wanting and talking about since we started dating (almost 4 years ago! yowza!), so there are a lot of things for us to look forward to. I still need a job and we still need a place to live, but I know God is going to provide those things in His timing so I'm not worried about it. He provided during our first year of marriage, and I know He will continue to do the same for our second year.
So, that means no holiday decorating for us since we're trying to get things out of our house. I'm so sad to not get a tree this year, but with such an exciting future ahead of us, I get distracted from that Christmas nostalgia quickly. We would love it if you could pray for us as we look for a new home, find a new community, and search for a job for me. Thank you!
And happy Christmas decorating and shopping to you! May it be a stress-free season for you and your family. :)
So excited for you guys (: Sending all my prayers, love, and Christmas cheer!!
