Gender Reveal {Baby Tuttle}

Meet the Tuttles:
Or as I like to call them, the Tuts.  Mommy and Daddy to be.
I felt so special because I got to be the first to know the gender of their baby...even before them!

Have you heard of a gender reveal?  It's a fun way for the soon-to-be parents to be surprised when finding out their baby's gender.  When my sweet friend asked me to be the holder of the big secret, I was so excited to put this together.  Here's how it went down...
He or she?  What will it be?
I made some clothespins to represent everyone's guess and they wore them until the big reveal.
In order to help you decide your vote...I had the mamma-to-be let us know what the old wive's tales said she was having.  According to the ones above...baby was most likely a boy!
Papa Tut actually thought baby was a girl, but he felt like he needed to represent team mustache.
Husband and I were the only ones who knew.  It was really fun as well as super hard to keep the secret from everyone.
Before the big reveal, we had everyone circle around the parents-to-be...team bows were on one side, team mustache on the other.  Husband gave a fantastic speech explaining that all of us around them were going to love this baby and be their biggest support system as a new family of three (and of course, their babysitters!).  He then gave them each a bottle of silly string:  one with a blue cap, the other with a pink cap.  On the count of three, they were to spray each other and the color of the string represented the gender of the baby.

I love these next photos...
It's a girl!!!
Baby Tut is a girl!  Thank you, Mama and Papa Tut for letting me be a part of this special day!  I can't wait to meet her and hold and hug and kiss that little girl and let her know how loved she is.  You're going to be fantastic parents!  Congrats!
