America's Birthday

This past 4th of July weekend was my favorite of all time.  Time on the lake with the family and new traditions?  I love it.  I can't wait for our future kids to grow up spending every 4th of July like this.  Nothing more American than out on the lake!

Now here's a picture overload of our 3 day weekend (PTL for those 3-day weekends!)

Beginning with a patriotic breakfast. :)

There was lots of swimming and laying around enjoying the perfect temp water - we had such good lake weather!

A boat parade that went right by the dock.

Some family pictures on the dock...I hope to take one of these every year and watch our family grow.

Not everyone was there, but it's still a crowded dock anyway.  #bigfamilyproblems

Cousins tubing. :)

Some of us didn't enjoy tubing as much...

Some of us live for it.

I am battered, bruised and sore from this one evening of tubing.

This is my "don't you dare push me in" pose.

 Wake surfing is a favorite.

And I caught my brother's first (I think?) 180 while clearing the wake.  Booyah!

Taking the kids wake surfing was so fun to watch...they loved it!

Especially my niece, who was FEARLESS.

Left:  Husband killin' it.
Right:  Bro-in-law and niece killin' it.

Being an auntie and uncle is seriously our favorite.  We just love all these kiddos!

SUP on the lake is soooo much easier than SUP in the ocean.

Life is good at the lake.

Happy Birthday, America!
