6 Days Till Christmas!

You guys, Christmas is in less than a week!

Who's ready?!  (Raising both hands)  I'm so excited for a little break.  This season has been SO fun, so busy, and yet, I feel like each activity has been relaxing and peaceful.  Does that make sense?  Can it be crazy and hectic and exhausting...yet peaceful?

Earlier this week, we had our Bible study over for a Christmas dinner as the last get-together of the year.  Husband and I have our tiny little home all decked out for Christmas and we added some extra lights over the table to make it a little more festive.  It was a scramble and some major teamwork to get it all ready after a couple busy days at work for us, but it was so nice and relaxing once everyone was here.  Plus, the clean up was really easy and that was a major plus!

I know our generation doesn't always register for China anymore, but I'm so glad we did.  I love busting it out for special occasions and I just love the set I picked out!  It's fun to get fancy every once in awhile.

Doesn't our little "Lake House" look so warm and cozy?  Real fires are my absolute favorite and I can't believe this was our first fire of the season.
