So I totally missed last week. We just kept forgetting with all of the crazy and never being home. Oy. A life that doesn't involve trying to pack, while keeping your home clean for strangers to tour it, while job stuff changes, and SO MUCH TO DO! But I guess life will always be full, I just hope I can learn to simplify it soon.
This week I am still feeling great (lucky me - I know!). My appetite has significantly increased and I just want to keep eating. However, I am officially not into greens. No smoothies, salads, or anything green, in fact. It's very strange and not making me feel the most healthy! I really want to eat something that makes me feel good, but I just don't ever feel like a salad...hens this weekend when I ate literally protein and carbs all weekend long. My body could definitely feel it, so on the way home, husband and I chose Acai bowls for dinner. It's not green, but at least it's healthy and refreshing!
I also finished my registry and I'm pretty excited about it. I couldn't find a lot of what I wanted for our nursery at any stores, so I ended up using Etsy for some things such as sheets (why don't any baby stores have mint colored items?!). There's an awesome website called Babyli.st that allows you to register from any site, so I was stoked to be able to use it as a supplement to the standard Buy Buy Baby.
Other than that, we are still looking for a place to live. We are exhausted and discouraged by the lack of options out there for us...this area is just INSANE. I have no doubt God will provide for us, it's just hard to not be anxious about when that will be. Moving day is in 12 days...I just want to know where our boy will call his first home and I want to start getting ready for him. Praying for patience!
God is good.
I know He is.
He gave us our son...and I can't even wait to meet him.
