Maternity Session {Becky}

My sister...she's beautiful.  

And today is her birthday so I thought I'd use it to share some photos from her maternity session a couple months ago.  I have been learning photography over the past year from some friends and my sister's photographer graciously allowed me to tag along during her maternity shoot to learn some tips and tricks.  These photos were all taken by me on my own camera; however, the staging and setting was all by the amazing Shanni at What Shanni Saw.  I didn't want to get in the way, so I was usually behind her or next to her taking photos; so her's, of course turned out even more beautiful.  

But, my SISTER.  She is pregnant with her fourth child...her FOURTH and she still looks this good.  Way to go, sis...way to go!  I hope I look that amazing when I'm on my fourth (and I hope I get to have a fourth one day!).  She took these as a surprise for my brother-in-law for Father's Day, so they've been hidden until this past Sunday when he, of course, drooled and became the smiley-eyed emoji x1000.  

I'm so lucky to have sisters who are pregnant alongside me, who have begun this parenting adventure before me, and who love me no matter how crazy pregnancy or parenting makes me.  

I love learning new techniques in photography.  This is not my usual style, but I love it!  I felt more artsy than my usual self and it was a lot of fun.

And thank you, Beck, for allowing me to tag along...not just to this maternity session, but in every way you've always allowed me to (even when it got me into trouble as a kid).  You're an amazing sister and an even better mama.  I love you!
