Baby G's Checklist {A Morro Bay-bymoon}

I made this super simple list a while back just so I could have something to start crossing off (I love lists!).  I haven't updated it in awhile and I realized I can cross off so many things now!

Buy a family car
Move to a bigger place - the biggest, most exciting thing to check off!
Register
Set up nursery - still working on this, but it's getting there!
Paint nursery dresser/changing table - this was actually a bigger pain than I thought, but it's done!
Pick a name - still a secret!
Find a pediatrician
Take maternity photos - just did this on Saturday!
Pick birth announcements
Go on a babymoon - Morro Bay, CA
Make freezer meals - I made a bunch and swapped with my sisters

Almost done!  Here's the scoop on our babymoon, affectionately titled, Our Morro Bay-bymoon...

Our babymoon was so much fun.  We stayed with some friends who are also due with a baby boy the day after us and the weekend was the perfect mixture of fun, relaxation, and good food.  We had such a good time road tripping down the gorgeous Pacific Coast Highway, just us two, and relishing in each other's presence without other distractions.

Highlights included:

Finally taking a picture in front of Bixby Bridge (after doing this drive countless times)

Seeing the sunset over The Rock as we arrived on Friday evening

Brown Butter Cookie Company

Fish tacos at Ruddell's in Cayucos

Seeing whales in Montana De Oro

Sloppy, delicious burgers at Sylvester's Burgers in Los Osos

And here are our friends we stayed with - can't wait for our boys to meet soon!
