{Party Time}

Jenny's Baby Shower

First, I want to introduce you to my beautiful friend, Jenny.  Her and her husband host/lead our church growth group and have helped make our transition back to SLO so wonderful; they really are a huge blessing to us.  Anyways, Jenny is the sweetest, most creative, and one of the the most genuine women you will meet and she is also expecting a little baby girl in May (which we are all very excited about).

Sunday was her baby shower hosted by her sister-in-law and you are in for a real treat with these pictures.  It was so adorable and crafty and cute and SO Jenny.

But enough of my rambling.  The shower was located at a gorgeous home in the middle of nowhere in SLO.  The front yard was big enough to host the party and the views of the green hills were amazing.  I know it's not the best picture, but this kind of gives you an idea of the venue...

 Aren't these centerpieces beautiful?  I am loving the wood cookie under the flowers.

 Our place settings had a cup and saucer for tea, a little gift baggy, a fun Mad Lib for advice for the mommy, and these awesome mason jar glasses (because who doesn't want to drink out of a mason jar?).  I want a never ending supply of those straws, though.  Cuh-UTE!

We were all given these super cute fabric flower name tags that were a fun little keepsake.

There was a craft table with tons of fun fabrics, stencils and buttons for us to decorate some onesies for the baby girl.  I love this idea.

They displayed the onesies on the laundry line with clothespins...how creative were some of these women?  I mean seriously.

Here is one that my friend, Emily, made.  Stinkin' adorable.

On to the food...the {delicious} food was displayed on some cute old furniture and with so many little details, it looked like it was straight off of Pinterest.  I wanted to take pictures of the display with actual food on it, but there was always a group of hungry women in the way.  But let's be real, when you get a bunch of women together and there's food?  We don't hesitate.

 Check out the little banner on the chocolate cake.  Serious detail.

 Cute and simple banner.

Fun bird cage for the cards.  I am a sucker for little things, and that little banner is adorable!  I want it.

And here are the lovely ladies from our growth group.  How cute is Jenny and her baby bump?  Love it.

I just love events and details and celebrating and time with good friends.

So needlesstosay, this was a wonderful day.

Over and out.
