Meet the McIntire family.
Mama = sister Becky
Daddy = bro-in-law Kevin
Kiddos = Caleb (4), Preston (1), Cheyenne (almost 3)
Beautiful and perfect? I think so. I am quite obsessed with my nephews and nieces and these are only three of them. How lucky am I???
Little Preston, who we call Presto or Cheeto, just turned one. He is all smiles. He may be the happiest one-year-old anyone has ever met. Seriously, anyone can get him to smile. He makes you feel really special. It's why we love him so much.
Don't you want to just squeeze those amazing cheeks? He's also a total chub. We like to call him the tank sometimes.
My sister, Becky, threw him an amazing baseball-themed 1st birthday bash for the family. We have a rather large family, so really, family is all you need in times like these. She did such an incredible job so I just had to share it with you all.
Brace yourself. Lots of photos. Lots of cuteness.
We'll start with the food because that's normally where I head to first. Sometimes before even saying hi to everyone. Baaaaad!
It was a hotdog bar (of course) complete with all the toppings you would need or want. Ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, cheese, chili, sour kraut (ew)...you name it!
I just love the balloons above the table. Perfect touch.
Warm chili...mmmmm...and pictures of this little guy everywhere because he's just that cute.
Daddy and Grandpa posing by the BBQ...wow...such a manly pose guys...
I loved the look of the tables in their backyard. So happy and made me so excited for summer!
...and of course you have to have peanuts...
Drinks in mason jars with baseball tags. Love always.
And here is the birthday boy's seat!
Ok on to the dessert table...
Grandma (my mom) made all the dessert.
Isn't this cake AMAZING?? I was so impressed!
And these little cupcakes with the baseball wafers on top were cute and delicious as well.
(Go, mom!)
We got to take home a box of Cracker Jacks and Presto's glamor shot...
"Hey ladies...come here often?"
But being with family is always so wonderful...
Presto, Grandma, and cousin Reese...
The band...
Olivia on the guitar, Caleb on the drums and Cheyenne...the dancer.
Everyone loves Uncle Bart!
My sweet little niece, Olivia.
All the men played washshoes...
While the kiddos played baseball...
Presto's Uncle Brian and Auntie Preety
My sister, Lindsay, and I with our newest niece, Lauren.
New family. My brother, Mike, his wife, Megan and their little one, Lauren.
Presto's Daddy and Papa. Note, I do not approve of the blue and white jersey. If I was better at Photoshop, I would censor it from your innocent eyes.
And on to everyone's favorite part of a one-year-old's birthday.
The cake. Usually their first (maybe) experience with real sugar. Always entertaining.
I apologize in advance for the millions of pictures...I just couldn't help myself. He's way too cute and his reaction to the cake is not the typical smash-in-your-face-cake-eating baby, rather, a confused and I'd-rather-be-playing-with-you kind of reaction. Priceless.
Enjoy.
And after cleaning up and putting his jammies on...Presto got to open up some gifts.
I think he found his favorite.
Congrats on making it to the end of this post. Sorry it was so long, I just couldn't leave any of these photos out.
I know you enjoyed it because who doesn't love a chubby, smiley, almost bald one-year-old?
I know I do!
Happy Birthday, Presto Cheeto!
Auntie Cassie loves you!
