{Tasty Tuesday: Pita Pizzas}

Husband and I have been eating like college students lately.

Burritos...Cereal...Scrambled eggs...mac n cheese...you know, the cheap and easy stuff.

That's at least how I ate in college anyway.

Well, here is a meal that totally fit in our "college eating" habits for the week.

I have to admit, I can't take credit for this, a friend told me about it and said it was her and her husband's "go-to" meal.  They always have the fixin's for it and when in doubt...Pita Pizzas!

What you'll need:
Pita bread
Cheese
Toppings

Toppings we used:
spinach
tomato pesto
oregano
bell peppers

1.  Assemble pizzas
2.  Bake for approximately 12 minutes at 350 degrees F.
3.  Devour.

Three steps?  Yummy goodness?  Absolutely.  We ate two each.

Confession.  We had them for dinner one night, and then again for lunch the next day. They even created an impromptu dance party in the kitchen to this song when there were only 4 minutes left...

{What is your go-to meal?}

  1. I love this! We always have extra pita bread around here. Do you how well they heat up?

  2. They heat up very well - I really like how it easily acts as a pizza dough. It becomes solid enough to eat like a pizza, but not too hard.
