I'm not ready for fall!

I can't believe summer vacation is coming to an end.  Although it doesn't directly affect us yet since we don't have kids, it's just insane that school is starting back up for all those kiddos that are in school...including our oldest nieces and nephews.  Why does life go by so much faster when you're an adult?

My office shares a building with a K-8 school and I feel like those kids literally just left for summer vacation. They'll be back next week, which is actually pretty great for me, because I love seeing those cuties walking around and giggling when I'm out and about, but still, they're back already?!  I'm so not ready for pumpkin spice lattes and boots and scarves!  Not yet!  (However, once I am ready, I'll be there in full swing baking pumpkin everything and overdressing for our mild fall weather.  But for now, I still want watermelon, days in the pool, and popsicles!)

In an effort to embrace summer - because at least we still have summer weather, I'll leave you with these photos of husband with some of our nieces and nephews...

Apparently the youngest was way too cool to jump and felt like he conquered his goal by having them think he was going to jump.  I just love that little fist pump!
