...On Space.

Want to know something that may shock you?

Husband is an introvert.

I know, right?  If you've ever met him, you probably don't believe me.  In fact, most of his friends don't believe him when he says that, but it's true.

He is just an extremely outgoing introvert.  I think most people tend to think that outgoing means extroverted, but that's not always the case.  You see, husband is fueled by time alone.  Time by himself gives him life.

I on the other hand, am an extrovert.  I love time with people and am energized by time with others.

Becoming his wife has made me really have to learn how to give him his space.  I love living with him.  I love spending every meal we can together, but sometimes, I need to allow him to just be by himself, even it means just in the other room.  I don't need to make conversation all the time and he doesn't always need to be entertained.

I'm going to have a much happier husband if I allow him to have his alone time.

Anyone else learning this about their spouse, too?

This is day 28 of the series "31 Days on becoming a new wife."  I hope you'll journey with me as I reflect on my first year as a Mrs!  Click on the button to see a list of the rest of the posts.
