1st Blog Birthday

Dear blog, I can't believe your birthday is today.  You turned one!  Although I have been neglecting you for the past couple of months, I wanted to thank you for what you have been for me over this past year.  Thank you for creating a space for me to experience creativity outside of my everyday life.  Thank you for the accountability you have provided in making sure husband and I go on dates often - it really has been a blessing to our marriage!  Thank you for encouraging me to cook and try new things even though the kitchen scares me sometimes.  Thank you for giving me a place to document memories, process life, and share my story even if no one else is reading.  I've never been much of a journaller, so this space has been perfect for me.  And finally, thank you for being so forgiving when I forget to blog, don't have time to blog, or just don't know what to blog.  I'm excited to continue with you for another year at least, so happy 1st birthday, little blog.  To celebrate, I might just make these.  Or these.  Or this.  Or maybe all three?  I don't know, I can't get ahead of myself here.
