Home

I can't tell you that I feel totally settled in our new home yet.  We still have packed boxes under the bed because we haven't figured out where to put the items yet and we definitely still have a few boxes in storage because, sheesh, we must take care of the ones under the bed first.

And despite the organizing nerd that is freaking out about the slight chaos, I do feel at home.  This new little apartment feels like home even though it still has a lot of work to be done.  And since it's so tiny and life has been a little crazy, every step of progress is one to be celebrated.

This past weekend we hung up a few things on the wall for the first time.  It felt really good, let me tell you.  Even this little wreath on the door felt like some sweet accomplishment and it only makes us feel just a little closer to being settled.

It's the little things in life.

Like the fact that I made this wreath almost a year ago and here I am now feeling like it fits perfectly with our life now; everything from it matching perfectly to our bright blue door to the fact that it encompasses exactly how husband and I are feeling right now...blessed.

Life is good here.  Just like it was back in our old home.  His blessings are showering us in ways we could not have ever imagined and I can't remember why I've ever doubted His provision.

  1. Love that wreath! So happy you are feeling more settled and at home in your new place. Everything will find it's place in your life eventually, don't worry about getting it all sorted through at once :)
