Miller Park

I loooove seeing new baseball stadiums.  Last year, I was able to see Angel Stadium (which you can read about here) and this year, I had the opportunity to go to Miller Park, thanks to my Gramma.  Seriously, my gramma had everyone come out for her 90th birthday and seeing a Brewers game was high on her list of things to do.

I love her.

It was fun to be at the Brewers game (for those of you who aren't baseball fans, the Brewers play in Milwaukee, WI), but I'm definitely going to need to go back for a few reasons:

1.  I forgot to eat a hotdog (who doesn't eat a hot dog at a baseball game?  For some reason I ate quesadillas - that were delicious, by the way).

2.  The Giants weren't playing (I really want to see the Giants play at every field).

3.  I didn't get a picture in front of the entrance of the park (I have done that at every stadium so far, I'm not sure why I didn't take the 5 minutes to go to the entrance to do that).

4.  I didn't walk around like a tourist and look at all the statues of the old Brewer icons (there was one of Hank Aaron and I missed it!).

5.  (And most importantly) Husband wasn't there.

You see what I mean?  This won't be my last game at Miller Park.  I'll have to make my way back some day.

However, I did see an old Cal Poly alum (that I remember watching play) get a hit, so that was fancy.

And during batting practice, we got up-close and personal with one of my favorite Giants players from a few years ago...Bengie Molina!

The field had a dome, which I've only seen at Chase Field, (Diamondbacks in AZ) but it was pretty sweet and only opened slightly for a short period during the game.

That picture above, on the right, is "Mops" holding her youngest great-grandchild, my nephew, Trace.  So precious!

Girl time at the ball game was the best - and the babies did great!

Love my sisters.  Love my mom.  Love my gramma.

(Baseball) Diamonds are a girl's best friend, folks.  Who agrees with me?

Oh, and in case you're wondering.  Why yes, I did have a Miller at Miller Park.   You're welcome.
