I just got back last night from a wonderful trip to Milwaukee to celebrate my gramma's (whom we call "Mops") 90th birthday. My mom and all my sisters were able to go and it was a ton of fun to be together. These girls trips are going to have to be an annual thing.
The picture above is at the Brewer's game, because of course, Mops requested we all go to a baseball game for her birthday (coolest gramma ever?). I told her that she looked like an angel in it since the light was shining right on her and she responded with "Not yet!" Ha! She's a funny lady.
But since it's Tuesday, and I'm tired from my trip and going back to work today, I'm going to keep this short. I've been trying to get reacquainted with the slow cooker lately. I love the idea of slow cookers, but I don't have a ton of recipes that I just loooove quite yet and I want to expand the collection.
I found this recipe here randomly floating on the internet and it was so easy, it is worth keeping and repeating. Super simple and no prep work (which is the whole point of cooking with your slow cooker, right?)
Chicken always seems to turn out dry for me in a slow cooker. Does anyone have any tips? Or other slow cooker recipes to share? I'd love to try some new ones!
