We all freaked out because none of us Californians remember what rain is and the combination of rain and wind put us all in a crazy - but have no fear, we survived (Benny literally slept all day; the rain must have put him to sleep).
And we are so grateful for this rain. California needed it! This morning, I was reminded of God's beautiful covenant with us. The rainbow at the end of a storm reminds us that He is faithful and keeps His promises...
"I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life."
Genesis 9:13-15
I can tell if it is raining (or going to rain) before I even get out of bed. I swear, the rain puts Shelby into a coma!
