Presidents Weekend

This was our third year spending this 3-day weekend with these dear friends of ours.  Since our first one, we've added 2 dogs and a baby, and it's really exciting to think of how much this group will grow and change as we continue this tradition together.

Now that we all live in 3 different cities, all 6 of us in the same room is a rarity, and thus making this weekend together really special and we look forward to it months in advance.  Heck, I'm already excited for next year!

We were all really excited to spend the weekend in the snow, but unfortunately, California has been struggling in that area this year so there wasn't much of it.  BUT, the cabin was just as cozy, the fire was still on all day and it still felt like we were up in a wintery wonderland.  We'll take what we can get!

Not much else to say but I stinking love these people and felt so encouraged after the weekend.  It's always worth the time, effort, and money to getaway for a few days and when you can do it with people who give more than you could ever receive, it fills a need in your soul that you didn't even know was empty.
