Bumpdate {20 Weeks}

HALFWAY THERE!!

This is a milestone I've been really excited about.  I feel like pregnancy has been going by really slow for me.  I've mentioned before that since I'm about 6 weeks behind my sisters, I feel like I should be closer to where they are, so I'm always a little disappointed to realize where I actually am this week.  However, I feel like I'm finally where I should be.  I think if I was beyond 20 weeks, it would seem way too close to being done, but not even being halfway makes it seem like it's taking forever.  Halfway seems just about right.  Plus, I really feel like it's going to go by fast from this point forward. Spring and summer are already booking up fast with moving, baby showers, trips, and changes with work.

I finally went maternity clothes shopping this week with my mom and I am reeeeeally happy about it. Jeans that I don't have to unbutton every day?  Shirts that comfortably fit over my bump?  Oh yes!  Now it's time to mix and match so I can make them last for the next 4.5 months!

Feeling baby move every day is not getting old.  I love knowing he's there, moving, twisting, turning, and growing for me.  I find myself talking to him more now that I can actually feel him in there.  I can only imagine what he's going to look like, act like, sound like...I am getting so excited to meet him.  I feel like the reality of having a baby in my arms is getting more and more real to me...or at least, I'm starting to be able to imagine it.

My boy...I'm definitely not ready for you yet...but I'm getting there.  I'm going to do the best I can to be as ready as I can possibly be, but I know that there's nothing I can do to be fully ready for how much you're going to change me.  For that, I am excited, scared, and totally trusting in the Lord for.  I love you so much already!

Benny got to join in on the photos this week!  He was just sitting and staring at me when husband took the photos so I felt like he should get some camera time.  He's going to be in for a big surprise once our little boy comes...
