Hubby went on a little one night trip to go Abalone diving with his dad and some friends. They were very successful! Poor Papa Gant couldn't participate because he broke his thumb a couple weeks ago and still can't get it wet.
They had perfect weather and found just enough abalone. Glad they had that man time together.
Meanwhile, my mother-in-law and I took a trip up to Sacramento first to see some family and make some yummy jam...
All ready to jam!
Two amazing Gant women teaching this new Gant woman how to make jam. Domestic Divas as we like to call it. Oh how I love being a Gant!
Then I headed over to my long-time friend's baby shower.
She is due in three weeks. Doesn't she look amazing? The second picture is with my other long-time friend. I love them so much and was so grateful for time with both of them.
Ooh, and I got to meet and hold my friend's 8-week-old twin boys that were absolutely beautiful. I wish I took pictures of them but I was too busy staring at their cuteness and not wanting to let them go.

After the shower, I went to my sister's house to spend some time with her and her beautiful family. It was a warm Sacramento evening so we ate dinner by the pool and caught up. It was perfect.
I love my nieces. Reese is one and Olivia is six.
I also got to meet Walter 2. Olivia says she is taking really good care of him.
(Sorry, no pictures with my sister and brother-in-law, but I love them, too!)
After going to church with them, my mother-in-law and I made the trip back to the East Bay with some stops to Fentons for lunch, Vacaville to see some more Gants, and Costco for some much-needed groceries.
It was a wonderful weekend with family and friends and now hubby and I are back home and back to work. I'm also reeeeally tired. Go figures.
{What did you do this weekend?}
