...On Celebration.

San Francisco; 2010

Forgive me for today's post.

I'm using it as an excuse to celebrate.

I've told you a few many times how much I love baseball and right now, my team is getting ready for the final game before the World Series.  It's pretty darn exciting over here and we're ready to celebrate.

But husband and I tend to find any reason to celebrate.  He wasn't always a celebrator (is that a word?); I told you how holidays were kinda 'meh' to him and I just recently told you that we strive to be each others' biggest fans, but another big part of our marriage that we have established in the past year is that we love to find any reason to celebrate.

Outer Sunset, San Francisco; 2010

This week it is our SF Giants we are celebrating.

Last night we celebrated a big win to bring us to tonight's game and we're hoping that after tonight we get to celebrate making it to the World Series. (!!!!)

But the point is, life of celebrating is happy.  When we celebrate together, we can't help but be excited to just be together.

Celebrating the big and small things in our relationship has been so fun this past year.  We celebrated every new job and every little achievement; I mean everything.  We make it a priority to celebrate our marriage and use every opportunity to do so, and I truly believe that it is a big encourager for our relationship.

Making each other feel special is so good for both of us.  I love to celebrate my husband as much as I love being celebrated.

So tonight, as we watch and celebrate our favorite sports team conquer (rallycain!), we consider it an investment in our marriage.

'Cause that's just how we roll.
